Haewon Tang is fun and likeable, though it is a shame how quick her mastery of martial arts comes, but I think that's common in wuxia? Her supporting cast is hilarious and they bounce of the protagonist very well. Maybe this is because most of the protagonists goals are short term, most problems are fixed relatively quickly, and so far things have always gone in the protagonists favor. It is certainly funny and entertaining, but the overall plot feels a little loose and unstructured. I really enjoyed Master Villainess! But I'm not sure if I would consider it well written all the time.
